But I would still like to update my blog with a little bit of my recent movement. Tadika Kulai Baru, the place/school where I worked for, has now have it's own private primary level classes which they called it as 'Home school'. Should I call this a school or just a class? Hmm... I prefer call it a school even though now it starts small.
'Home school' is common in western countries and some part of regions in Malaysia but in Kulai, it is uncommon... Many parents are still unaware of this and many have doubts over it as well. I guess I'm the few of them to come across this idea and practice it for my kids.
I hope through home school, my kids really learn the joy of learning while playing. Childhood is something so precious that I hope my kids enjoy it while they can. We are not live just to study, study and study in order to obtain what our parents hope we will be. At least this is what I see nowadays. Sometimes, I really did pity my older students whose parents sending them to various tuition classes almost every day. So, their time is only occupied with all those tuition classes and enrichment classes which most of them are not interested in. This is such a sad and tiring scene to see but there's nothing I can do to change it... :(
So, for my kids, I can't promise them a school-like social environment, a school-like friend circles, a school-like homework based timetables but what I can give them is a real-life social environment and friend circles. We will go to those 'kopitiams' to meet different kinds of people and even be-friend with them. They will pick up real-life social skills such as how to communicate with those 'uncles and aunties' when they want to order something, how much they are going to spend over the meals and how much balance they will get back if they pay more. They will learn to appreciate and cherish what they have and learn not to be lavish with their meal. (And I believe there are still more to learn...❤)
When says about these, I recently watched a Chinese Reality Show with my kids - Where are we going Dad? This is a good show for my kids as they learn from those kids of what life can be out there. And it is very touching as well when all the Dads talked about their feelings with the kids and the react of all the kids performed in certain scenes. (At least it touches me...❤)
Soon enough, in just a few days later, new year is coming - 2016. Before that, it will be Christmas first...❤ Merry Christmas and wishing all the best to everyone out there and as for myself, my family and my kids, sure enough I hope them to be healthy and happy always...❤
